No respite in Dengue spread, 3 more die in Lahore LAHORE: Three more people lost their lives in Lahore Friday after suffering from Dengue fever, Geo News reported.

The number of casualties is constantly rising across the province with Lahore being the worst affected city. Malkani and Aziz aged 35 while Sharifan Bibi 65 are the latest victims of the fever who lost their lives today in Mayo Hospital.

The number of patients visiting hospitals is continuously rising, creating difficulties for the medical staff to provide treatment.

Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has instructed the respective staff to take all the necessary steps in order to control the disease and provide treatment to the patients. He ordered the administration to recruit paramedical staff on urgent basis.

Lahore Commissioner said that the heaps of filth are being removed and special attention is being paid to maintain cleanliness in the city to curb mosquito production.
